Aren't you the same guy who said Fury will beat both the Klitschko's?

And what has Broner done to prove he's superior to Burns? He got clearly beat by a natural SUPER-BANTAMWEIGHT in Ponce De Leon, but everybody seems to forget about that! :verysad

After being exposed, moves down in level of opponents and starts beating up on midgets and natural featherweights, he's had a MASSIVE size advantage in EVERY single fight he's had.

But a casual like yourself will see Broner with his flashy style, fighting dog **** opponents and think he's the next Mayweather.

Broner is all style, no substance, Burns is techically better, will be the biggest guy he's fought and has a great engine.

    Burns UD.

ricky has the tools to beat broner

broner has that shoulder roll defence, behind his left shoulder, so Ricky's left hand would be key

thankfully, he has a great jab, and physically he's a big lad

sadly i dont think he has the power to keep broner off

mitchell would have no chance. he's a small lightweight even if he has more pop than burns

You don't need power to beat Broner, watch the Ponce De Leon/Broner fight, Ponce was 2 weight classes above his natural division and completely outhussled Broner :good

Flea was forced to vacate while banned, and thus justice was done and iron-chin is now sat upon his rightful throne.

    I'm guessing.

Sometimes you gotta give FW a kick up the arse to make things happen......hopefully your doing that in regards to SS on September 22nd, my coaches are booked so I'll not be happy if he aint fighting

Deal. A draw or a No Contest voids it but any other results stands.

    OMFG :rofl
Not once have I said Fury would beat the K brothers, i am not a fan of Fury by any stretch of your imagination.

I read your post and saying Broner was "exposed" shows how little you know about boxing . Broner was 21 years old, still learning his trade (and still is) and had a tough fight (bad night even) with an experienced former world champion but still won and thats "exposed"? really?

what the **** was Burns doing at 21-22? Oh yeah fighting Buster Dennis, Haider Ali, Alan Temple and the rest of the "dog ****".

    Also this
"But a casual like yourself will see Broner with his flashy style, fighting dog **** opponents and think he's the next Mayweather."

firstly can you define "casual fan"

secondly, if you would rather watch Burns jab, jab, jab, grab and tie up boring style with the odd "stoppage" win (like the Nicky Cook "stoppage") then fine but yes I prefer something a little more "flashy".

Also, Broner "Fighting dog **** opponents"? are you taking the ****?
Burns has recently fought Andreas Evensen, Joseph Laryea, Nicky Cook, Paulus Moses...
they are top quality and decent title defences in your opinion?

Burns was the one saying he wanted to unify the titles but as soon as Broner was next he jumped a weight. Broner beats Burns and beats him easily.

anyway we will see if Burns has outgrown lightweight if he gets past Mitchell and Broner is next...

Yes a Former world champion at 122 pounds.

'But still won' Thats where your wrong, he got a gift decision.

I don't give a **** what Burns was doing at 21, but right now he's a better fighter then Broner, I never once said Broner can't become a legitimate world champion or improve too become a good fighter.

A casual fan is someone who occasionally watches boxing, who knows nothing of the history of the sport, someone who doesn't understand what more hardcore fans will.

As for the styles..I don't really care for flash, I'm more of a purist and enjoy seeing the basic fundamentals, rather then all flash backed up with little substance, but that's just my taste, and when does Ricky clinch in fights? Very rarely IIRC, your making it sound like he fights like Wlad Klitschko

As for both mens competition..when did I once say Burns has fought good guys? He's fought pretty much dog **** opponents as a 'champion' look at all the Burns threads, I'm one of his biggest critics, but the fact remains Katsidis and possibly Martinez (even though I don't rate him) are by far better then anything Broner has faced.

And I don't agree with Burns ducking Broner when he held the WBO strap at 130, he moved up to fight a much more proven fighter in Katsidis.
