Lets just be honest here. I dont see what some of you people see. His defense is solid, hes heavy handed, top 5 in speed in the world. He's very good and the sky is the limit.

People wanna say he looked like crap yesterday...well he did in spots. The reason he fought the way he fought is because he knew Pauile had no power. when you know someone cant hurt you, you mess around in the ring. I'm not saying thats right (Because Pauile won alot of rounds, i think 5 of them) but thats what happened.

When he knew somebody was danergous like Demarco, he got him out of there quick. so u can say he fought flat footed and a bunch of stuff but he did that because he didnt respect Pauile and knew he didnt have power.

From what i seen so far in his career, he can become one of the greats. Willl he get there...i dont know. his trash talking sucks and he acts like a Bi*ch sometimes. but the talent is there. and i still take him over alot of fighters at 140 and 147. If he fights Maidana he wouldnt fight like he did yesterday and you guys know it. he would go outbox the living crap out of Maidana and probably KO

    Broner career...to be contiuned...

You're the one who said Broner would pound Paulie and JuanMa would stop Garcia right?

If Broner is as stationary vs Maidana as he was vs Paulie he gets hurt, maidana hits harder than broner and would make Broner pay if he just stands there and shells up for 2 mins of a round.

Maidana has problems vs Movers not stationary targets.

His defense is average at best, lots of times it's awful. He got hit over 200 times by a faded and limited Paulie. He has struggled against Quintero, Ponce De Leon, and Paulie. Not the makings of a guy that's billed as the "next cash cow superstar". When he used the shoulder roll, Paulie tagged him a lot, it's a cheap imitation of Floyd that he's terrible at.

He's good and he clearly has a lot of talent but he clearly (to me, anyway) doesn't deserve to be proclaimed as the future of the sport or one of the ten best fighters in the world.

He's going to get better but if he fights a top 5 fighter at 140 or 147, I think he's in trouble.

And believe me that Broner will be a mover when that fight happens, and after he beats Maidana they will overrate that victory.

And I agree on the Maidana assessment, except for the stoppage.

i'm not sure hes a top 10 p4p yet. but in all honesty i dont see many people beating him. the only person i see tht might give him trouble could be Lucas. but Lucas has lost plenty of rounds to less oppstions to Judah and Devon. i think Broner is better then Judah. Lucas has got better but i dont know.

    not at 147.

he doesn't have the power to get the respect.

he never hurt pauli who was beat down by khan, hatton and cotto...all 140's.

that was about as bad as a performance as broner could've had.

it was a 147 pauli malignaggi.

and broner never had him in trouble and paulis face post-fight looked no different than pre-fight.

    that is very, very bad.

for those of you guys trying to justify broners performance at 147 you don't know anything about boxing.

hes fought one fight. how the hell did you know he cant hurt nobody at the weight?? Pauile has took plenty of shots from many power punchers and hasnt got dropped. so Broner didnt do it, so what??

    weak argument bro.

Cano Brutally dropped him and smashed his face in, Cotto Literary broke his face and dropped him.

Hatton and Khan made the ref/corner stop the fight because the fights were so one sided. Paulie's face was a mess after both the Khan and Hatton fights and only won 1 round vs Hatton and 0 vs Khan.
