Word in the DC boxing world is Broner is trying to fight Matthysse at 140, but his handlers want him to take someone lighter on a floyd undercard. Broner wants his own date.

Also word is Khan is trying take a Berto figh smh. Maybe he's waiting on Floyd for September lol

Call Broner what you want, but don't call him a *****.

    Who's GGG calling out again?

GGG calling out lineal champ at 160, and other belt holders at 160. Looking for Chavez fight if he looks PPV worthy vs Vera, but if Vera pull the win... it would surprise me not at all if we saw Vera-GGG this summer.

Chavez Jr. Fights at SMW. Golovkin says he's focusing in MW.

Loeffler has already sent an offer to Arum for a Chavez fight on PPV at 168 if Chavez is PPV worthy post Vera. Thats coming from Arum, not Loeffler.

But I thought they weren't gonna have him fight at 168 until they exhausted all possibilities at MW? At least that's what they said after Ward started talking about fighting him. Maybe they changed their minds.

The guy is clearly not all there in the head, if he lost 5 in a row he would probably still be calling out everyone and fighting anyone

From what I have heard- for Chavez it would be a temporary move-up.

And this is speculation on my part from here on but id bet RL money on it:

That is, having and winning a PPV fight in the summer would make a lineal shot a lock. If Golovkin managed to establish himself as a PPV draw, that makes making the big fights a heck of a lot easier. Would mean Martinez, or even Cotto would not be taking a financial "step down" to face him anymore. If MArtinez and GGG both won summer PPV fights, that would mean MArtinez-GGG would be a PPV fight and satisfy his goal of padding his retirement purse since he has said he was retiring by 40 regardless.

It would also give GGG upper hand in negotiations for the eventual Ward fight, even if they somehow did not get the MW lineal. Team GGG has always said they wuold fight at 168 for the right opportunity/money. And a PPV fight with a big name would seem to fit the bill.

Broner has balls...going after Lucas is just like going after Miadana. But at 140 he increases his chances of winning a lot! I think his handlers are happy Floyd removed Marcos from their fighters table because he was looking at another loss at 147.

A fight against the number 2 p4p fighter seems like a great opportunity. Chavez Jr.'s last fight barely had anyone there. His stock is dropping. More power to Golovkin though if he feels he would become a PPV star by fighting Jr.

I think it was intended as a subtle slight at Golovkin that kind of fell flat, because K2 is actually sending offers to big, strong, former champs. Not tweeting or trash talking to Suckback.. and making noise.. but actually sending offers to other promoters to make fights.
