Nobody thought going in to the Rees bout that Broner wasn't the more gifted, stronger, bigger, and faster athlete and that he would stop his foe. What i saw that let me know that i may have not been fully aware of before, is that Broner lacks the seriousness of purpose and the mental maturity that he'll eventually need to compete with the best of the best. Broner has a inferiority complex much worse than Floyd ever had. Futhermore, I see him shaking his head and sucking his teeth while getting tagged repeatedly by guys at 140 where he'll eventually have to move to, and that's where he'll get found out. He may have a time with Scot ricky burns, but i don't think that's where reality will kick his teeth in. Can anyone, who doesn't have Broner's sack in there mouths, tell me what they think would've happened if that was lucas matthysse in there with Broner last night? Seriously, let's not put Broner in the p4p list just yet just because he beat a bantamweight sized fighter. He's a good reflexive and athletic guy who lacks what's needed in b/n his ears to be elite. These are the facts.
Broner would approach different fights in different ways..when he gets to 140 he will dominate and ya'll will have more excuses
He thinks he's Floyd Mayweather, but he's just an imitation. If he doesn't find his own identity he'll get exposed eventually.
I agree with you that Matthyse i s the guy who could derail the tr ain but I'm not sure if a lack of ma turity will be the reason. We're gon na have to accept that love him or hate him,Broner is going to become a very big deal in the sport even tho ugh his lack of humility is quickly bec oming areal turn off.
