Actually, Uchiyama has expressed interest in going to the States to fight Broner. Too bad now. Broner never came close to cleaning out JLW, and his best win he should have lost. :verysad

 

I agree Ward should have went to Montreal for more money but everything else he said is true. There is far more money in the US to be made for boxers. The SMW division was big in Europe because no one in North America Cared about it because it was a new division. the Middleweight division is only number to to the HW division in terms of prestige so most N. A. fighters fought in the MW or LHW division until the SMW divsion started to become more established. There was more money in the SMW division in Europe in the beginning because they had more "stars" in the division.

Why are you talking about Ward and the SMWs? the discussion is about Broner and the SFWs . . . or could you not tell the difference
