mr.pibb, i'm telling you now that broner is like berto.heavily muscled, top heavy, without the fluidity or movement to be top notch at higher weight classes.broner is used to being to stronger man,or harder puncher.when he runs into a situation where he's not you'll see what i mean.and devon would beat broner btw.

I'm not saying Broner would definitely beat Alexander. But if you really watch him, and take into consideration that he's only 23 years old... You realize that he has excellent skills.

And he is still physically developing. He's a thinking fighter who will continue to learn more and more about himself and his craft each fight.

Just because he talks a massive amounts of ****, don;t take him for an idiot when it comes to his craft. That's the biggest mistake one can make.

no,broner talk $hit for effect but he has serious flaws in his game.he'll learn but he doesn't need to take that step up in weight class.he's not ready.he wants to fight like floyd, past 30 floyd at that but if you look at floyd at 23 they're leagues apart.

I do think he is in love with his own power. He showed several vulnerabilities in the fight with Paulie.

Although I don't rate Broner very high yet, as I think Ortiz, Maidana, Guerrero, Matthysee, Thurman all beat him, he is no Berto.

He is much more skilled than Berto. Broner is heavily muscled, but he's still atheletic. He is much much more defensively sound, and he has much better stamina. Berto is a 4 or 5 round fighter.

I wish everyone would stop with the Floyd comparisons. Hell no he doesn't fight anything like Floyd, and he doesn't even try. His style is completely different, although he incorporates a few of Floyd's defensive strategies.

And I never said his game was perfect, but at his age and having only fought one fight at 147 and one at 135 (none at 140) how much of a force can you really expect him to be right now?

I think he'd be well within his rights to take a touch-up fight or two at whatever weight he wants to settle at, and learn a little more before really taking on some heavier tasks.

i think the same.but neck,i think broner is used to being the bully or boss in there and when met someone who isn't going,he'll lose.i'd pick guerrero, ortiz, alexander, lucas and garcia over him at this point.being honest.

I agree, alexander would be the closest out of those.

Broner vs Alexander, with both of them yelling

Broner will only fight if he is guaranteed a win.
