Broner: McGregor would get KO’d in 1st round in boxing world

UFC are a bunch of club fighters fighting each other.

Ultimate club fighter championship.

 

Remember when ******ed UFC fans used to say that Ronda would beat Floyd in MMA.

Maybe boxing fans should retaliate and troll the UFC fans relentlessly that Claressa Shields or Katie Taylor would outbox Caner McGaynor.

Broner is right. All of these MMA clowns have glass jaws. Even low-level journeymen would spark their best fighters out in a round.

If they want to protect their health, they should stick to rolling around on the ground!

 

i agree that mma fighter would get beat up in a boxing ring but all im saying is connor under right promotion and brought up like a real pro just turning pro then he can get through the tomato can stage and maybe actually test him self the right way

not just hop into boxing and fight the big dogs !

Broner is right. It's only fair comment.
I'm Irish, a boxing fan, and I say Conor is VERY ordinary.
He has had about 20 mma "fights", lost about 3 and quit against a nobody in one of his losses recently.
Conor doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as a top boxer.

 

A slickster mover type boxer would own him and knock him out inside 2 rounds.

McGregor would only be good enough to beat the professional losers on the boxing scene.

 

I'm struggling to work out the point of your comment.... Unless you mean it's not like boxing where they can't duck and swerve each other, cant pad there records out fighting jim the builder, the best fighting the best, oh yeah I'm with you now, good post

 

The problem (pun somewhat intended) is that these are two completely different sports.
If Broner would be put in an octagon with someone close to McC's level he probably gets wiped out, and if McC actually would enter a boxing ring against someone close to Broner's level he wouldn't have much chance to hear the final bell either.

That's why it's insane to even think about putting a boxing match between Floydypants and McGregor on PPV. It probably will sell, but it's like putting the world's best tennis player vs the best squash player, put them on centrecourt at Wimbledon in a tennis match and see who wins.

 

Boner would have more chance (albeit 2%) in an MMA match against CM but CM would have zero chance against broner in boxing..... fact

 

How the hell is Garbrandt a "failed boxer"? He had a good amateur boxing record and then switched his attention to MMA.
