Broner has an illusion of being a better fighter then he is imo due to the opponents hes fighting, the style he fights, and his speed.

People calling him the best, comparing him to floyd, ect, ect. Just no.... believe me hes not as polished as he appears.

I do like him though and hes an awesome prospect, well I guess hes no longer a prospect but you know what I mean  Good young fighter

I feel you. He's 22, and styles make fights. He beat De Leon in an ugly fight. I need more too which is why I said 'might'. 22 years old, geez!

I want to see what happens when he's hit solid by a skilled puncher. That is my litmus test with boxers.

any one thinks they saw a little mayweather in him? of course some of that right hand close to the ear and rolling with the punches looked familiar.

I love Broner he's a g but donaire is the better and more proven boxer. I think the sky is the limit for him because he's only 22 and he will be the problem for many years to come.

He looks like a Floyd jr. wannabe is the most apparent impression for me. He got lots of potential but he is not at Donaire or Gamboa's level yet.

He's a problem for anyone 130 down, not saying he's better but a serious problem. He's fast, powerful, has good instincts and reflexes, decent D, not a lot not to like. Not to mention he has the mos swag of anyone 140 down.

if he makes it at the top level i can only see him making good money and being broke. that was a huge entourage he had with him.

I'd take Broner over Donaire & Gamboa.

I agree with ya kirk, and his chin is not the best at all guy's like Doniar or Gamboa and even Rios would bust him up, all I know they better not make any match making mistake's because the first time they do he is a ko waiting to happen.:yep

Donaire says he would fight as high as 130. I'd pay to see that fight. Gamboas chin might not hold up against a guy like Broner.

Broner's offense is impressive, but as with so many promising contenders, his defense is a little suspect. He also needs to learn to pace himself, for when he faces a Mayweather-type opponent.

But heck, he's young. Should be fun to watch for a long time.
