It's bad enough he punched an old lady and stole her purse for a measly $40, but it makes it even worse that he was a few years into his boxing career and making money from that. I understand there have been countless numbers of athletes that grew up in the ghetto doing that kind of stuff, but if any of them do that after the become pro athletes that is just pathetic.

To be fair, no one here knows what happened.

He was charged and acquited, Tyson was mega rich,and possibly the most famous athlete in the world and he didnt get off.

Broner was nothing more than an up and coming kid. I dont see why he would be left off because of his status or money alone.

 

Shut the **** up, you ain't no angel. If you was you wouldn't be on here reading this ****. Get on the internet and read about some of the really ****ed up **** these youngsters are getting into from all walks of life and then you might be able to make a more relevant statement. Not only are they assaulting old people, they are killing them and a whole lot of other ****. This ain't no goody goody fairytale world you living in son. Wake the **** up.

 

People don't have to grow up in the ghetto to do ****ed up ****. Get it right.

 

I know this, but usually the excuse people make for athletes doing stuff like that is that they were from the ghetto were that stuff is always going on.

You're talking as if going around assaulting and robbing old women is something that is normal among the youth. It isn't. It's a very small percentage of people that go around doing this. The absolute scum of society. Perhaps you surround yourself with people like that so it may seem normal to you, well I can assure you it's not. How many people in the world have been charged with assault/robbery of old people? How many people have been charge with murder of old people <1%. Just because it happens doesn't make it normal.

You might have assaulted and robbed old women, I don't know. But the law of averages says the vast majority of people using this site have not done anything like that in their lives.

I'm no angel but I can say with my hand on my heart that I'd never dream of bashing an old woman and robbing her purse and neither would anyone I know.
