Broner's defense will be put to the test at 140. Offensively, he'll be one of the best for years to come.
What I saw was a champion who grossly underestimated his opponent and paid for it through the first two rounds. Once the champ realized he was in a fight and made the proper adjustments the outcome was a forgone conclusion. As for Lucus and how he would fair against Broner? Right now I think Lucus is coming into his own and anyone who fought him now would have to box him on the outside because of his tremendous power. With that being said Broner does seem to have limited outside boxing ability. But against Lucus this would only work to his advantage as Lucus will look to land big shots from mid range. Broner can smother his power while dominating an inside fight. And let's not forget mucus has zero defense and is easy to hit. He does have chin but too many shots from broner would be too much. So if the too ever meet Lucus would see better results from the outside and broner from in close. Right now I think Lucus wins and I don't think it would be close. broner needs to mature and cut all this gay swag **** out and just handle his business.
You call not being able to make it to the 1/2 way point of the fight, without his corner literally fearing for his life and stopping the fight, as "competitive".
He's more offensive than Floyd, so of course he got hit more... If he shelled up, u would say he was boring Lets wait until he has to worry about getting KO'd by a bigger puncher before we declare he's not good I've boxed my little cousins n stuff n they landed some good shots on me only becuz I'm not afraid of them so I don't cover up, becuz what's the point?
I agree he was getting tagged alot lucky for him Rees had no power. He will lose soon but not to Burns and not to Garcia and deffinately not to Rios. It going to take someone special to beat him someone with speed and power. I reckon if he moves to 140 the only one that can beat him is Khan
