Reason being he's boring as **** and his fights are unbearable viewing.

Simple question: who of the last 40 years is MORE boring than Ward?

    The Klitchkos
    John Ruiz
    Devon Alexander
    Winky Wright

... just to name a few.

Yet none of these fighters seem to get any of your attention... you being an advocate against boring boxers and all. :think

Broner is a more exciting fighter and actually has personality. Easy answer. And. . .V. Klitschko is NOT a boring fighter. . .where the hell has the delusion that V.Klitschko is boring come from? Maybe Wlad is but not Vitali

Ward is more than all those by a lot.

The Klits at least produce KO's 8 times out of 10.
Winky Wright had some decent fights and generally wasn't boring when his opposition were good.
John Ruiz is on par for bore but being a heavyweight he always had potential to land a big one at least.
Alexander is a boring **** but not quite Ward level boring.

Ward is unwatchable. Terrible. Fans turn their TVs OFF when that boring **** fights.

where are these "numbers" of Broner being the bigger draw?... or is this all just based on opinion?

I like both fighters, & their potential to be great, but I think Andre Ward will end up being the bigger draw.

As a boxer and true fan of the sport, I can sit back and appreciate his work in the ring. His skill shouldn't be underappreciated because he doesn't take very many unnecessary risks. True boxing purists realize this.

Ward hasn't had to promote himself

Numbers should be available for their most recent fights.

Pretty sure Ward had significantly higher attendance(paid and total).

Television ratings were comparable, I believe, with a very slight edge to Broner(1.4 vs 1.3).

attendance numbers weren't too far off from each other plus 1.4 for Broner was vs a nobody whereas 1.3 for Ward was vs a top notch p4p level fighter.

also take into consideration that Ward has been getting hyped for a few years now, he's top 3 in the world p4p and he's been fighting the best fighters and known fighters. for Broner to even do comparable numbers vs nobodies after just over a year of being a known fighter speaks volumes about where they're at with regards to being a draw and the distance between them is only gonna increase if Broner keeps winning.

Ward will be like B-Hop who gets mad respect and is recognized as one of the best but doesn't appeal to the casuals.

Actually, Ward had a considerably higher ticket sales, at a much, much higher price.

Also keep in mind that Ward-Dawson was promoted much more heavily by HBO than the Broner fight, complete with a 24/7 episode and a Face-Off-like conversation between the fighters played regularly leading up to their bout.
So Broner's fight being seen by 100000 more people constitutes an insignificant difference in TV viewership, but Ward selling 3000 more tickets is highly meaningful?

I think his last fight with Dawson was really good. He put the beat down on him, and showed aggressiveness. His fight with Froch he schooled (people could call it boring if you aren't in to schoolings), and his match with Abraham WAS BORING.
He seems to be getting more exciting as he progresses, and of course not many people can touch his skill level.

Broner obviously is the bigger draw due to his mouth mostly. He will continue to do so until he gets brave, steps up to much, and takes a beating. He's talented, but not as much of a defensive wizard as Floyd, doesn't move nearly as much.. Which makes for great fights for us, but he's gonna fight somebody he's not going to be able to hurt and has to eat a lot of leather from them.
