Broner-Porter is one of the toughest matchups to pick I've seen in awhile

    Sounds about right.

Porter knows he can put pressure on and see how Borner reacts

Hard to pick, even harder to care about.

I can't think of a big "main event" with two big names about which I've cared less about the outcome.

I really want both Porter and Broner to just go away. Whoever gets the W, it will annoy me, because it will mean a springboard for that person to get another big fight.

Lot's of ways to compare them, but since it's a a PBC fight, it comes down to moneymaker vs. moneymaker. So I'd take Broner by split decision thanks to one crackhead scorecard.

I would be far far more confident if the catch weight was not imposed i still favor porter but the catch weight can't be denied expecially since porter finds it hard even to make ww

FACT is he will be drained we can't overlook this sonny

Very tough to call, but I go with Broner purely because of the weight.

No because Broner doesn't use his speed. He stands in the pocket and uses his upper body to dodge punches. It isn't a good strategy against a pressure fighter like Porter.

And Porter will be drained, the guy started his career at MW and I think even fought as high as SMW. The guy fought Degale in the AMs, let that sink in for a second.

    Yeah, at 135lbs.

He's not shown power above that weight.
Paulie took him to a close decision.

Brook had a bit of trouble keeping "mini-mike" off him all night.
When he found his range he started to control the fight with his jab & counters.
    Has Broner got a jab?

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

You just proved you know **** he has no power at all maybe at 135 but even than it was because of accumulation of shots:scaredas:

its a very interesting match up....i think people may be overlooking that Porter is only a short guy and i dont like the weight will be too much trouble for him..

its not a fight either of them will enjoy imo and i am surprised it has been made...i will just go for Broner to win on points,i think Porter is fairly limited when plan A doesnt work...

dont know where the loser will go next though

you are right about Broner being a bit of a standing targer but although Porter has fought at bigger weights he has always looked too chunky to me and i dont think the lighter weight will be an issue

Yup. No reason to do that. Broner is afraid he will get destroyed again at Welter so he needs to do whatever he can to prevent from getting his glass shattered again.
