Porter isn't slow but the clear hand speed edge belongs to Broner.

Having said that, Porter is more powerful, stronger in the clinch, etc. - and his reckless leaping-in style can neutralize Broner's faster hands by making it difficult for him to set himself offensively.

I have no faith in Broner. I see Porter beating Broner to a pulp and exposing him yet again. ONly thing that can save broner is porter being drained and runs out of gas quickly..

How can you possibly make a statement like that and be so certain? Do you think Porter even knows the answer to that question? Just another negative Troll post.

I actually think Porter will win, purely because he all wrong for Broners style. But Its still a very close fight either way so wont be surprised by any outcome.

Its a really decent fight to be made.

    Thank you Al Haymon :)

This fight was hand picked for Broner. Don't forget that Porter started as a jr middle and anyone pretending catchweights make no difference need to stop watching the sport because you're an idiot.Do you realize how much water is in 2 or 3 pounds? For an athlete who has already cut so much weight it is murder. You cant just drink a few glasses of water, have a nap and be all fine... Do research ffs.
Yes buc, Porter agreed...doesn't make it right though.

Broner easily outboxes Porter and may even drop him. Broner won't touch canvas, and then he shoots his mouth off classlessly.

Not even floyd can teach Broner in one camp

By that logic, Porter has been drained throughout his whole career. Pretty impressive considering what he's achieved :think

The weight won't make a difference in this fight according to the Porters. I don't see it making a difference as Porter will come in the bigger guy, the stronger guy and will still try implement his game plan.

Broner stylistically has the tools to keep Shawn at bay, but Porter is gonna give it his all. Broner can't potshot to victory and has to increase his work rate in this one....

    Broner does have a jab...

It is quick, but he isn't as good at predicting movement/countering like Brook.

    I think Porter mauls broner.

If Broner can't adjust, Porter is gonna blitz him all night and might stop him. If Broner takes a page outta Brooks book then he has a chance of winning. I am leaning towards a Porter win.

I really hope Porter wins as I cannot stand Broner, but think Broner will.

Yeah when he was fighting guys he had a ridiculous size advantage over, since he's moved up from 135 he hasn't come remotely close to stopping anyone.

If Maidana can maul Broner, Porter can steam roll him.

However, it's a valid point to assume the catchweight might hurt Porter who appears to be pretty big for the weight class.

If the weight has no effect on Porter, I think Porter is going to boss Broner. Broner doesn't have the power to stop Porter.

Even if Broner had movement, that wouldn't be enough. Porter is a young pitbull.

Brook handled Porter properly. Brook is a big strong dude though. He's stronger than Porter and huge for the weight class, plus he's a good puncher.

I'm going with Porter on this one. I think he's going to stop Broner.
