Broner-Porter is one of the toughest matchups to pick I've seen in awhile

If Porter is drained he will lose hands down. If he's not he will have a great chance. Broner should have learned from his fight with Maidana, the styles are somewhat similar with Madiana being more skilled.

Let me take this apart.

First, he didn't even make weight his last fight and looked like a corpse. Okay, he's not jr. WW. Secondly, he's fought twice at the WW limit. That makes this catchweight absolutely pointless with Broner only putting it in place to get an advantage.

Only reason this is tough to pick is because Porter may come in drained as hell. Oh, thirdly, you're a clueless Wilder fan so your opinion doesn't matter. :nono

 

Maidana is definitely more skilled than Porter...

 

This will not be close Porter demolishes him

Maidana more skilled Porter is a better athlete. I accidently voted AB but im going with Porter for this one.

 

Porter bobs and weaves all wrong, he has the speed and power, but he is very predictable. Broner will figure him out.

 

Considering the catchweight and the odds. The value is with Broner. I also really like Lemieux over N'Dam so perhaps a parlay might be in order.

Do they do those things for boxing???

 

Porter is not a puncher like maidana look at his fights and ko record. But porter is the kind of fighter that will give broner hell he comes forward non stop. Fights for 3 mins a round, has a good chin and decent pop and defense. Broner likes to work very little and take his time pot shotting and porter wont let him do this and broner has no real power as a lww or ww

 

i dont think Porter is nearly as good as people are making out...he lunges in with wild wide hooks and tries a bit of ruff house on the inside with no real plan B...i know Broner is not a likable guy but he has far more talent than Porter and against Maidana showed he has baws as well,if Broner had better footwork i think he would win with comfort..
