The whole 'cabbage' Rees think was a premeditated flop. No one laughed and Broner even fooled himself by calling him Gavin Rees and then quickly changing it to cabbage again. Broner hardly B-Hop when it comes to mind games.

On a serious note, I was a bit disappointed to see Rees a fair few inches smaller as hoped they would be pretty even. I still think Rees could be able to out fight him in the clinches.

The name calling was school playground stuff, the only laughs seemed to be coming from his own team. Didn't particularly find Eddie Hearn funny at all. Said what he had to say, sat down, smiled.

I for one have forever said that we should support our guys rather than be cynics, so what if they lose, american hype gets taken too seriously.

 

Broner can't do face to face contact seriously, he has to joke to make him not look daft. When he went face to face with Guerrero in some camera phone video, he couldn't answer questions straight and kept trying to avoid confrontation. We should support every British fighter, even if you don't like them you should want them to beat anyone from another country

Sometimes people are just real. It aint a matter of supporting either fighter, its a matter of picking a winner for some people. Support plays no part. Of course, we'd all like to see our lot be dominant, but it aint like that. And for me personally, I just like to see the best fighters fighting at a high level. I support the sport, not individual fighters.
