Man I used to chuckle to myself and pass judgement on him(I certainly had no right to) but I just feel really bad for the kid now. He really is very mentally ill, and there's nothing that funny about it. He's acts/says/posts what he does due to it, it's false bravado and bluster coming from deep rooted insecurity and depression. For his own good he at least needs to step away and get squared the **** away before returning, for his own good. This isn't the stage for him right now. Some people might not agree, but imagine being as successful and wealthy as him, with his health and as far as I know his families health, and being as miserable and insecure.
"I need help from somebody" This is the most honest thing he has ever said. That is seriously reaching out for guidance in life, not just boxing. I hope he finds it.
Absolutely, but when that point comes, people should be there for him, people who have made money from him. But they wont be, instead, he is probably a lonely depressed young man who needs help, in spite of what he may have done in the past to annoy you.
If he actually does "retire" expect him to blow his money and be forced to fight again for the paycheck.
I used to dislike Broner because I thought he was a punk. Then I sort of didn't mind him since he seemed aware of his own ridiculousness and played on it tongue in cheek. Now I feel sorry for him. He says he needs help. I hope he gets it.
Yeah, he doesn't seem like a bad guy, just a dude that had no guidance growing up and doesn't know how to behave as an adult. He's a manchild desperately in search of a father figure.
You call that Mic skills? Ric Flair had wits and charisma for days. How are you going to compare him to some ****** like Broner. Broner has no personality. Just because one spits stupid sht on the mic doesnt make them Mr Charisma. Broner isnt funny at all really. He sounds like somebody who is mentally disabled.
