I don't even like Broner, but he looked good tonight.

 

I had a close UD for broner but oh well, he was barely 21 and stepping up in competition for the very first time vs a recent champ with mad experience and a guy who has vastly improved since his championship days so even if you had PDL winning it's still an impressive showing by a young fighter stepping up in class for the 1st time. he learned a lot from that fight and it improved him immensely as a fighter to have such a stern test a young age, he'd win wide in a rematch. his team did a great job by not babying him and padding his record like so many other potential stars. by giving him PDL they gave him the confidence to know he can hang with a world class pressure fighter that ain't going down, he's improved since then and that was a big result of his improving. I'd love to see a rematch, broner might just stop him this time.
