It wasn't a thing of necessarily picking every artists consesus best song, it was more an introduction to the all time great mc's for those that dunno, so instead of just reading off the list in order I played a few songs from each artist to rep. didn't put a lot of thought into the song choices just dug through my crates and cd's briefly and picked a couple records I dig from each artist.

And yeah Jay Z has far more classic albums than Eminem and makes a better song so I'd have to rank him higher.....I would agree that Eminems a more skilled MC without doubt but he lacks the classic albums and has a lot of filler and that has to be factored in. You'd be hard pressed to convince any NY head that EM's better. Ranking Eminem ahead of Jay Z is like ranking Barrera ahead of Morales on the ATG list....they're very close in talent and Barrera obviously won h2h but overall you would have to rank Morales higher based on longevity and resume just like you'd have to rank Jay Z higher based on discography anmd longevity.

Funny thing is This even bigger, can't make weight, Rios dude was calling out the even smaller Gary Russell Jr a couple months back.:-(
