There is little doubt in my mind if Broner is all business he will easily beat Maidana in the rematch. The partying lifestyle will take a backseat in his prep this time. SRR loss to jake lamatta.....Sugar Ray Leonard lost to duran and Floyd won a close fight with castillo. All three were told they would their rematches by many. But...they won easily in their rematches. These are just the greats from WW. Broner stick to business and win the rematch.

Easier said than done. Maidana just completely overwhelmed and overpowered him from the opening bell. I'd like to see what kind of adjustments he will make in a rematch but it's only wishful thinking to expect him to perform different. It's still a gutsy move from Broner to put everything on the line and aim for a rematch, he could have easily cruised away and talked smack on twitter like Amir Khan.

Yes, the greats did. Broner will probably do worse.

Broner doesn't seem to have changed his attitude much, which doesn't bode well for him. Probably surrounded by yes-men in his camp anyway

A loss isn't the end of the world.

Hope he can come back stronger.

That's fair, but we shouldn't be pointing fingers and laughing at Broner, even though he comes off as a clown at times.

He took a big risk with Maidana, and he lost... but he took the risk, when he could've cherry-picked his way into 2014, and on.

He gets my respect for jumping two weight divisions and facing Malignaggi and then Maidana in a mandatory challenge.

Your reaction is exactly why some fighters chose not to take on legitimate challenges.

People tend to give up on fighters once they lose, but almost ALL all time greats have losses, some have them early on, some late... but they didn't duck challenges as most fighters do today.
