40 mil for what? Just to sign? I can't believe that. Can't see him making 40 mil in purses for his entire career. Jay-Z in not in the business of giving away money

He probably got offered like 4m and felt lowballed so he said f you to rocnation. Truth is he should have taken that because its all he's worth at this point.

When he sees his mentor make $30 million a fight, and he's under the delusion that'll be him some day, it makes sense why he would turn down that deal.

Of course, he'll never be that type of attraction and one day will be on the street begging for money. Wonder if Al will be there to help once he's no longer financially viable?

I guess if you're "About Billions" he wouldn't settle for a paltry sum of $40M.

Adrien Broner is an Al Haymon guy right?

And Al Haymon has refused to work with Roc Nation so far right?

And Al Haymon has final say right?

So if the offer was real, I doubt it was even Broner's decision

Wonder if Roc Nation will deny they made that offer. If the offer is true and Broner turned it down then Broner is one of the dumbest if not the dumbest boxer alive.

I just liked Broner a little more. I thought he would kiss the ass of a big time rapper like Jay-Z, but he didn't. Good for him.

40 million is a stretch for a signing bonus.
