Who ever believes this sht DKSAB. The majority of fighters rarely get 1 million dollar paydays. Broner, who is at best B level (not hating), wouldnt make 40 million in his entire career.

I know Broner is no where near as good as mayweather, but most boxing fans used to say Mayweather would never be a big earner because of his boxing style, and they turned out to be wrong. I got to be honest though I never expected Floyd to be the huge money maker he turned out to be.

I agree about not expecting FMJ making as much money as he has. One big difference is Broner got smacked around by Maidana not too long ago and humiliated him.

    :deal

Unfortunately for Broner, he couldn't accept Roc Nation's offer even if he wanted to as he is under contract with Haymon.

I don't get the crazy outburst though. Jay could have been a friend to Broner outside of boxing in other business ventures, but he can now kiss that goodbye. What a dummy.

Broner SAID he was upset bc Jay didn't personally approach him like he did with Andre ward... Supposedly he was sent the offer through an email...either way I'm glad the lil **** either couldn't sign or didn't sign bc he is nowhere near worth it... 40 mill for five years...2 fights a yr that's 8 million per fight...yea not worth it

I can't stand Broner and took great delight in watching Maidana kick his ass, but I have little doubt he will make a lot of money in his career.

Firstly there are way more people watching his fights hoping to see him lose then to see him win. This makes him a very marketable fighter since any opponent he faces comes with a substantial guaranteed fanbase of Broner haters.

Secondly, there is no hiding from the fact that he is a very good fighter. He might not be one of the elite, but I sincerely doubt that anybody would take him lightly.

40 mil does sound pretty high at this stage of his career, but I reckon that people here might be under-estimating how much revenue he has the potential to generate when he faces more high profile opponents.

Broner thinks he's the heir apparent to Floyd's throne. He's always been delusional.

Maidana brought him back down to Earth with an almighty bang. And it was delicious to behold.

''Broner talks too much. He talks and he talks. Let's see if what he says holds up. The same thing happened to me with Victor Ortiz. He thought himself a big star and I knocked him off his high horse. I will always do my work quietly. I never disrespect my opponents, but if they disrespect me I will disrespect them. This Broner guy better not say anything to me because I really have it in for him. I know he's the favourite. But I don't care. I've crossed paths with lions. He still hasn't fought with men. He hasn't beat anyone yet to be a star. The cow has messed with the bull.''

    :patsch:patsch:rofl

LOL . Guess Broner had some time to think about what he said and what he passed up, because he's apologizing now

I always thought Pacquiao turning down 50/50 all because a blood test was the dumbest business decision by a boxer ever.

    This might eclipse that.

Pacquiao be like: "Hey Mr. Jay! Can I have that deal? No cutoff for testing!"
