I think Broner will win on points. Porter is just a brute, no finesse or genuine skills and hes definitely not as good as maidana.

Broner is a bit of a tool but hes strong and he has heart plus I think porter will be damaged by the weight loss/restricted rehydration which has slightly curbed my interest in the fight.

    more or less this...

but i seem to be the only one not going along with the weight thing,i dont think it will hamper Porter ..he may even be in better fitter shape ,he always looked a bit chunky to me

Disagree there, I think Maidana has been hyped beyond all recognition recently. The guy lost every round when he fought Alexander, nothing special at all. Porter's performances against Alexander and Paulie showed that he's legit. I do agree that the catchweight Broner has insisted on will be a big handicap though.

Devon fight was 3 years ago, in recent times Maidana has looked good, really good at times. Pretty much everyone would lose to Floyd yet he performed well. Maidana and Porter, not much between them IMO.

Just watched the press conference on YouTube and I get the strong impression Broner is absolutely petrified of the whole situation because he I think he knows he's gonna get beat and his "brand" is gonna be in tatters after he's been on the receiving end of another pummelling.
