My point remains you called him a fighter with 'no power' and with over 73% KO ratio that is factually incorrect. And how many fights has he had at WW? He beat Malignaggi and lost to to one of the hardest punchers in Maidana. Moreover, its not a world title fight. By the same token Rios has 0% KO ratio at WW. Rios is a career LWW himself and shown to be slow plodding non-puncher at WW. The best part this career light weight is considered a very solid and viable Brook opponent for a world title defense after defending against a pastry. Clearly, the double standard is apparent.
Your getting confused - it was boxing4ever who said he had no power. It was you who brought up KO ratio's. Rios and Broner have both had 5 fights since moving up from lightweight. Broner has a 0%KO ratio, Rios has 60%.
2 of those KO's were against Mike Alvarado,He also has 2 losses above lightweight. Even though Broner lost to Maidana, what a fight it was from both men. I really rate Rios, he is never Pacquiao and Mayweather level but he is a world class fighter. Broner is unproven above lightweight, he struggled against Malignaggi as many have done in the past so tough to say where he is at. I think Khan v Broner and Brook v Rios will be great, 2 fantastic trash talking build ups and the winners fight eachother. Probably Broner v Brook. Rios again is no pushover, Carson Jones gave Brook hell, Rios is a much much better version in every department.
so if you are not a big WW struggling to make weight, then you are not a legitimate one? What kind of argument is that?
Sorry, looks like I did mix up. I believe Rios has only had two fights at welterweight, one against Alvarado and the other against Chaves. Broner, also has had only two fights at welterweight, one against Malignaggi and the other against Maidana. Anyway this fight isn't happening.
