You cant go off of that, things have changed and its very obvious Broner as of right now has the Better chin period... Memory Lane doesnt apply!

 

Matthysse since the Molina fight has looked different. He used to be alot more explosive and aggressive, which was good cuz being usually the smaller fighter, he'd get outboxed from a distance. Since the Molina fight, I also noticed he didn't have the same power he had before when he ko'd Soto and Peterson, both better fighters than Molina. It clearly seems to me he's past his prime, cuz he had at least 2-3 chances to get Postol out of there early in their fight, but Lucas never followed up. Lucas was there for the taking. No disrespect to Postol, hes very good and stuck to his gameplan, but he also should have been warned WAY earlier for the excessive clinching, not 4-5 rounds after. Lucas wasn't focusing on the body as he had before, he was only getting close to get hit. Matthysse has faced and beaten better fighters, not the same Matthysse from the Soto, Peterson, or Garcia fights. Right now Broner would destroy him. Lucas needs a different trainer bad.
