Broner vs Matthysse

this is exactly how I feel. Matthysse has adapted his style SINCE the Zab fight to not leave it to judges. Got robbed and learned from it. He tried to put Alexander away more aggressively but to Devons credit he has a good chin but he still lost that fight.

 

Name one big puncher Matthysse has faced since fighting Alexander. There's a reason he can "go all out" in his fights. The second he tries that **** against someone who can really punch, he'll go right back to boxing.

 

I'll name you 3 big punchers that couldn't hurt his granite chin but once Lucas threw his bombs they'd get cross eyed .Judah,devon,ajose. Name at least 3 big punchers Broner has face now??I'll wait.............5'3 Eloy perez/Rees? lol

zab judah outboxed Matthysse, the same Judah that everyone good makes buckle under pressure, yet Matthysse couldn't do **** but have an extremely close fight.....

Broner is far more rounded. Broner by UD. No one below 140 besides JMM beats him

 

Alexander was a 10 rounder

 

neither of them has fought B+ or A- opposition i think the difference would be that the fight would be at 140 and the size advantage that Broner is used to wouldnt be there, also Matthyse would be used to getting hit by bigger boxers

If people want to say that Broner has improved since his close fight (and arguable loss) to Ponce De Leon, fine...I'd agree wholeheartedly with that. But Matthysse, himself, is a better fighter now than he was when he fought conservatively against Judah and Alexander - the latter being a really bad decision also.

 

Broner's too flat footed... I haven't really seen him on his toes yet

Best case scenario for Broner, he does what Judah did and barely squeaks by with an arguable decision

Otherwise he's getting stopped late

Matthysse has lost two controversial dec,You can brag about Judah 1 pt split dec win in his backyard all you wan't fact of the matter is Lucas was fully intact after the fight & devon/judah were on their way to the hospital(Run it back & see if they make it past 6 lol).Somebody from judahs crew reached out to lucas team & told him he won it's just boxing politics so that's all that matter.Broner has improved from pdl fight ppl say, so has Lucas though.Don't worry i'm not expecting fight to go the distance broners fans talking **** but just praying he survives & receives gift dec lol I'm not worried if fight gets made it's a wrap.
