I scored Alexander vs Mattysse fight 95-94 knock down point being the difference, wasn't really scoring the fight against Bradley but thought Bradley preformed better and if the fight continued it probably would have been more in favour of Bradley. Thought Kotelnik performed well against Alexander scored it 7-5 in favour of Kotelnik, hadn't watched it in awhile because I couldn't find a decent quality version fight but in the end managed to find one. Alexander has pretty good wins over Witter, Bailey, Maidana and Urango. Matthysse vs Broner would be a good fight Matthysse is a good boxer puncher it is only really recently that he has started to become more aggressive but it works for him, Broner got good defence , speed and good power. 50-50 fight if it happens. Broner should fight Burns vs Vasquez winner and Abril vs Bogere winner before moving up to 140 lbs, it isn't a given he wins those fights. And Matthysee in that time frame can hopefully fight Garcia and either someone like Khan or Peterson again can't guarantee Matthysse wins those fights. Then make the fight.
Matthysse boxed Zab for 8 rounds then went for it in the 9th and knocked Zab down in the 10th Rees took Broners punches and recovered from the knockdown Broner couldnt stop Matthysse if his life depended ln it look at the poll Matthysse will **** his **** up u coulda at least said decision to make yourself look less like a dumbass
I don't see this insane punching power in Broner the jury is still out on Broner it's rare you get a boxer like him that also has a decent chin.Floyd Mayweather has a decent chin but I still haven't seen Broners tested if he gets in there with the Alexanders Garcia Mathysse Khan Rios and destroys them then we can talk. But I smell something fishy here and think Broner will stay at 135 and wait for the current 140 best to be off to 147 or look bad before he goes near any of them.
Matthysse will have Broner pissing blood half way through the fight. If Broner's defense was having issues dealing with Reese, he will have issues dealing with Matthysse. Matthysse is bigger than Reese, and has better feet, he gets himself into punching distanc better. Broner would have to open up, to not get outpointed. As with Floyd's shoulder roll defense, a decent output keeps him in defensive mode, not throwing anything back. Further, Broner's shoulder roll isn't as good as Mayweather's. He was getting touched upstairs at a decent clip, and his body was getting touched up by Reese at will. Against Matthysse, Broner would probably shart himself within 5 rounds, if he gave him that unprotected body like he was giving Reese last night.
Well, this is a universe where Tim Bradley is still unbeaten. I wouldn't rule anything out at this point. I'm almost positive we'll see Broner at 154 at some point. He's a great big ******* for his height (I heard he can get as high as 160+ when not fighting), so I fully expect him to have at least a few fights at 154 before his career is over.
u n him got somethin in common then Bradley shoulda lost to Pac but hes a world class fighter Broner wouldnt be able to use his size at 154 he would get bullied and definitely get some losses
Yeah, I'm not saying he would campaign there full time, but it's easy to see him moving up and taking a few fights there against the right opponents for the right money (a little like how Floyd has fought an old DLH and Cotto up there, with Miguel not being a natural 154 pound fighter like Floyd himself; Floyd hasn't fought a natural 154 in their prime yet, not that I blame him for doing it because he isn't that big.) Broner probably realizes the same, but money talks, and I think there will be at least one huge fight in his career he won't be able to ignore the money for, and he will move up just once if he has to get the money.
MVC is a sad-butthurted *******, who has converted into a fake ***** cuz his hero got K.O'd by Marquez in 6th ! :yep:hi: MVC = My Vagina Craves This content is protected !
Matthyse is a monster for a 140lb fighter. did he not weigh something mad like 164lb on fight night on his last outing? With this in mind i think it would be the first time that broner doesn't out weigh is opponent and cannot rely on being able to bully with his power. I just cannot see broner being too successful with his half hearted shoulder role defence and standing at close to mid range all flat footed as he does. Broner doesn't seem to have very good footwork and boxing at range on the outside is obviously not his forte. Personally I think both lucas and rios have a very good chance of beating him because broner is just there to be hit and doesn't have a great defence like floyd does.
