I cant think why someone would rush to 147 to fight for a paper title against Paulie Malignaggi unless it was to position himself for a huge payday.

Its a mistake though, Broner is a massive talent and he shouldnt rush into fights he isnt ready for just for cash.

One fighter's 0 is not automatically equivalent to another's.

Broner's welterweight ranking is a joke if any of the sanctioning bodies have it as such. Same with his inclusion to the pound for pound list.

Fans wouldn't call for it because Broner's style plays into Mayweather's hands and he isn't nearly tested enough.

You could see the tactical reasoning behind Pacquiao offering Broner a fight... :think

Dunks, you're delusional, that fight will never happen and for damn sure if it did, Broner wouldn't make 20. From here on out, nobody that fights Floyd is getting 20 mil. He wont allow it.

It would be a shitty fight with a shitty buildup and shitty PPV numbers. Nobody wants to watch a guy fight the guy he imitates, and the friends angle kills fight buildups.

Besides, if Paulie doesn't beat Broner Alexander will on the Floyd undercard in Sept. Alexander is allllll wrong for Broner.

Beating Broner or Malignaggi does nothing for Floyd's legacy. I would give him even less credit, if that is possible, than for Guerrero. Oh yeah, I do not give Floyd even an ounce of credit for taking on Guerrero.

Broner is unpolished, green (relative to Floyd), nowhere near as skilled as Floyd, not a cash cow, and will likely not be a true welterweight before Floyd's contract with Showtime ends.

It'll happen if Broner looks poor against Malinaggi.

Floyd would spank Broner, it'd be like a master vs a student. Hell I think a lot of fighters giver Broner hell at this point, Guerrero would probably edge him and someone like Alexander would give him a damn good run for his money. Broner is massively overrated.

Broner would lose, the dude get hit a lot even tho he is trying to copy what Mayweather is doing defensively.

an undefeated broner atop the p4p list with a belt at 147 in a year or 2 does nothing for Mayweather?:huh
