No solid talks yet but i would love to see that fight. I don't think Broner is good enough yet to write check that he can cash yet and if they fight i will bet my money on Sailido even though he will be moving up in weigh class.

What you guys think? who takes it at 130?

I think it would be close to a toss-up if they were the same size, but I think Broner is too big for Salido. He looked practically like a lightweight his last time out, plus I have concerns about Salido's chin going forward.

    Who promotes Salido?

Any chance this is likely to happen?

"If Gonzalez, 30, doesn’t want to take the fight with Salido, then he says his back up plan is to take on one of the following fighters: Andrien Broner, Gary Russell Jr. or Celestino Caballero next..."

I would like to see Russell Jr take that fight since he is the same weight as Salido. Although I see all three of those beating Salido.

Salido isnt near as compact defensively or as versatile as Castillo.

Salido reminds me of Mayorga. More refined. But still very wild.

His guard is pretty tight. His punches aren't always wild, they're tactically looped with fighters with a peekaboo guard. I don't see how you can compare Salido to Mayorga, he has solid fundamentals. Salido isn't Castillo, but Broner isn't Mayweather. Broner has improved since fighting Ponce, but Salido would test the depth of those stylistic improvements.

I would probably favor Broner, but it wouldn't be nearly as easy as some idiots claim.

The biggest problem I see is that Broner is a ****ing big 130lber and that size advantage might be telling against a guy with Salido's style.

Then again, everytime I pick against Salido he makes me look like a fool so what the **** do I know lol.
