So it's official Adrien will be facing Gary Sykes for the Wbo strap. Sykes is a guy who has performed pretty well at domestic class but coming off a loss in his last meaningful fight against Gary Buckland.

Simply astonishes me.. How are fights like this made? I mean how can the Wbo sanction this? Buckland is a brave man, hope he can go the distance. Best of luck to him.

I think he surprises a few people.

The Buckland fights were not really him in there , should never have entered that 3 round tournament.

Im not sure Broner is all that anyhow.

Because that's an actual test and a pretty equal fight if it happens. This fight is going to be a one sided pointless beat down where he gets a free belt.

Broner will dispatch him within 3 rounds. Pointless for fans but golden boy is scripting the future Floyd Mayweather in Broner , that's why he puts on the wannabe Floyd act. All for the money.

I'm sure I read the other day that you can't make it a title fight if the opponent isn't in the top 15.
    How did they wangle this?
Sykes probably isn't the best fighter in his street.

Broner needs to be eliminated from team slick black immediately. For all his talent and bravado his trim is letting him down. Need to see a real barber.

Sykes is a solid domestic fighter, Broner however is borderline special.

Props to Sykes for taking this fight, he's showing a big set of balls and I wish him all the best. How this has been sanctioned I don't know..

Concerned that Sykes might get hurt here. Fought on Prizefighter, wins British, loses British, immediate world title shot? Doesn't even ****in sound right does it?

What about Commonwealth or European level first? If Gary gets badly damaged it does boxing no good whatsoever!

i didnt think this was serious. The UK superfeatherweight division isnt exactly strong right now, and sykes isnt even the best domestically.
