Everlast CEO Neil Morton defended his company's manufacturing process for the boxing gloves and said he believes the dispute was simply a case of Mayweather seeking a psychological edge.

However, it could be that the commission was simply trying to broker a deal and placate Mayweather, given that the stock red gloves had been approved.

    :deal:hi:

    deal with it.

I bet you can't *****. Too bad for you that day will never come. Boxing has too many nations and races for that to happen.

Broner is doing what a lot of guys have done nothing new here. He knows he's fighting a guy who's naturally bigger than him and can punch.

if it wasn't in the contract Porter shouldn't have to wear them.

That doesn't preclude the fact that they tried to cheat with custom version of them. Floyd gave him a choice, choose other type of glove or no fight. Floyd had every right to demand different types of gloves. Maidana should have been fined for trying to use altered gloves. He got off easy and got his biggest paycheck.

Yeah. It's too late to expect such silliness, lol.
Unless they pay Porter a nice amount to wear them he won't.

Unlike Floyd, SRL, and ODLH fought everyone, no excuses about special drug tests, pillow gloves, or dates...

The fight is in Vegas. According to their rules, a WW fight takes place in 10 oz. gloves unless both guys agree to wear 8 oz. gloves. So Porter would have to wear 10 oz. gloves if that's what Broner wanted. I haven't seen anything reported about this issue, so hopefully it's not true.

I thought anything over 147 was 10oz gloves. I could be wrong.

In Vegas, if it's over 147 then you were 10 oz. gloves. From 135 I believe to 147, it's 10 oz. gloves unless both guys agree to wear 8 oz. gloves. Everyone under 154 though is more than happy to fight in 8 oz gloves.

So what's next? Broner wants to be counted to 60 if he gets knocked down?
