Vicente Escobedo will be crowned champion on Saturday. He's from my home town, and has paid his dues. He is an Olympian, fought top fighters, and although he lost, he was in those fights all the way to the end. He has trained with Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, and all of the other world class fighters. Nacho, Freddie, Garcia and other great trainers know how good Vicente is. This is his time, and as the other upsets happened this month (Danny Garcia, Josesito Lopez), Vicente Escobedo will upset Adrian Broner. And if you don't think Escobedo has speed and power, you'll see it on Saturday. Trust me on this one. People will be shocked when "The Problem" gets knocked out around the 11th or 12th round. Man I hate that kid He is funny when he;s being himself, but when he tries to be Floyd, pretend-choke perez with no actual force behind the choke, thank God and Al Haymon, sits in the corner trying to make the same facial expressions that Floyd makes, its annoying. He barely landed any punches on baby perez's little azz, and when he did land, the knockout was leftfield, and unexciting, very anticlimactic...Broner has a problem with fighters that use movement, I think glass jaw Hank lundy can tap his azz cuz he's faster, and throws more punches
this, its hard to support a guy who pulls some Kermit Cintron dance move **** when they get that gift decision like Broner vs Ponce Deleon.
u didnt think his performance against Perez was impressive? i use to talk trash about him until i saw his fight against Rodriguez. hes got skills bro and hes improved alot. he definately aint floyd but hes pretty solid imo.
Broner can fight. i dont think hes what everybody says he will be, i gotta admit though his whole persona is kinda lame. like that dude that comes around an tries way to hard to fit in
Nah cuz he normally outboxes u, gets u hurt, then throws the flashy combos. Against Perez, there was no violence, cuz perez had SOME d, and broner didnt land much. The audience was quiet, waiting on the action to start, and no one really landed anything, then when we least expected it, he lands one punch and perez was not really conditioned to be fighting a guy that big. I thought that was a bad fight, and the KO was leftfield. That was a bad fight to me, no action, no violence, no punches landed cleanly. Broner is a tool used to manipulate Floyd's fanbase, and because I KNOW its a tool used to dictate how we think, it makes me shut down, and I actually work against the tool. I actually hate him more, knowing that Im being manipulated into jumping on his bandwagon..please dont fall for the tricks.
