Sit down child, and listen to the facts:

    2005- Bruselles, Gatti, Mitchel.

Mitchel was demolished by Kostya Tszyu, the rightful king of the division, in just a few rounds. Every time he stepped up, he got knocked out. Anyone who knows boxing, knows that was a **** choice of an opponent.

Gatti was a glorified club fighter, whose claim to fame was slugging it out with other club fighters. I love that man, he was a true warrior, but he had no business being in the ring with Floyd, yet Floyd chased that fight relentlessly, and no, it wasn't for the belt, it was for easy money. A fine chrrypick, chasing after a guy that went 3 life n death wars and was in no shape, mentally or physically, to take Floyd on.

Bruselles was an adjustment fight, to get used to a new weight class. But that doesn't change the fact that he was a journeyman.

2006 - Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir.

Zab Judah is a dangerous fight at any given moment. Floyd picked him COMING OFF A LOSS, in hopes of defeating this very dangerous fighter when he was on a decline. However, that almost backfired, Zab was very well prepared and gave Floyd arguably one of the hardest fights of his life. That fight was a boxing masterpiece and I still rewatch it every now and again, but the FACT REMAINS, this was a cherry pick to get an easy win over what at the time was thought was an opponent on a physical decline, a cherry pick for a belt that should have been stripped.

Baldomir, a bigger, slightly stronger version of Gatti. He beat Judah because Zab has severe concentration issues and often does not train properly when he feels he has an easy fight coming up. No one gave him a chance, not even Bryan Kenny, who gave Floyd **** for not fighting Baldomir. It was as one sided as it gets, and while this isn't a cherry pick, this isn't a tough fight either, Baldomir was an average champion at best.

    2007-Oscar Delahoya and Ricky Hatton

Some people say Oscar beat Floyd. I say those people need to switch to watching WWE. Floyd won comfortably against an aged superstar, who JUST RECENTLY got outboxed soundly by Felix Sturm, and then KNOCKED OUT by Bernard Hopkins. Delahoya was far beyond his best years, as exhibited by his next fight against Pac, and was there for a record paycheck and a shot at glory. A Cherry - pick at it's finest, Delahoya was a terror in his prime, but also failed every time he stepped up to real top notch competition, such as Shane Mosley and Tito. And don't bring up Mayorga, everyone and their brother beat Mayorga, a man who lets people take shots at his chin to prove his toughness is an idiot.

Ricky Hatton was a physical WRECK. His binge drinking, junk food addiction, clinical weight fluctuations and last but not least, HIS CHIN CRACKED BY Collazo, who took his soul in 12th round of their fight and , in my card, only lost by 1 point in their bout, was a man ripe for the taking. And Floyd gladly took it, even though its hard to blame him for this particular cherry-pick. Hatton got delusional and thought he was elite, forgetting how his combination of wrestling, dirty refereeing and huge age difference helped him defeat aging, weight drained Kostya Tszyu, in Hatton's backyard. Hatton was spent long before he stepped into that ring, body worn by wars, abuse and alcohol, with his short arms and boxing style that relied heavily on inside wrestling and borderline fouls. And yet even so, Floyd fought him at 147, the weight at which he was almost knocked out by Collazo earlier, just to get an extra edge.

Should I keep going? Or would you like to catch up first?

PS: I could write something similar for Pac, he had his own shenanigans with weights, aging opponents and questionable scorekeeping against Marquez, but we are on Floyd right now. You're so dumb, I bet you listen to kanye west too.
