He can take it two ways: Learn from the fight, accept he got beaten up and get back on the ground and work hard to come back. Or he can lose confidence/go into denial and lose the plot and never achieve his potential.

Back to the drawing board. Career far from over though. AB will have to train hard and take things more seriously after tonight. Maidana mauled Broner all over the ring.

Yeah, he weighed 156 tonight but he needs to go back down to
135 where guys can't hurt him and he can be the much larger
man in the ring, because he sure as hell doesn't have the overall
skillset to compete with guys his own size. Mattyhsse and garcia
    fukk him up too.

Yeah, ain't even gonna pretend to like Broner or be a fan, but the kid's a decent fighter and only what 23 or so- as long as he's strong enough mentally there's no reason at all he shouldn't come back to a successful career - perhaps with a little less of the self- promotion tho, til it's genuinely earned.

Too bad he is not a humble individual. Usually people like him never face reality.

Yup, here we go. Just as I thought. The black man lost so let's all gang up on him.

Let's be real here. You and I both know that Broner didn't learn ish. Once a thug always a thug. Hopefully his rap career works out for him because he is now worthless in the boxing world.

What potential, he is another Amir Khan massively overhyped, no matter how much he works he isn't going to get near Floyd's level

I think this was the best thing for Broner. It reminds me of the '85 Bears who were beating everyone and getting a little too full of themselves, they went and shot the Superbowl Shuffle video, then lost to Miami the next game because they weren't focused. They were humbled, learned from their mistakes and went out and took care of business. Let's see how AB rebounds from this. I know on this site everyone who gets some support is a being "over-hyped" and if the lose , all of a sudden they are overrated. like Tyson said about losing to Douglass, "it was a bad day at the office". Props to Marcos though, it was a great night of fights...

Lol, there may be some truth to that, but people, all people generally don't like a big mouth. IMO though it seems that if you are black, young and rich with a big mouth, people hate it even more, white folks especially....

if maidana can hit him that cleanly and that often i fear for him against the rest of 147 and 140. matthysse and thurman would have him on a stretcher.

who remembers the people who had him top 10 p4p, that was hilarious :rofl
