Not over, but his dreams of reaching Floyd status have been dashed...

What was telling was how he doesnt none of the poise, calmness or ring IQ of Floyd. Thats what really separates them

this loss will really test his mind set. he'll come back if he dedicates himself to training and accepts that fighters lose. if he doesn't accept it, the ghost of Marcos Maidana will haunt his shattered career.

    time will tell.

Here goes the racist card. Broner acts like an overconfindent teenagers who talks sh.it to adults. Disrespectful. No god fearing in him. Just his big ego. Broner's behavior has nothing to do with race. A scumbag is a scumbag, and Broner is one.

The sad thing is, if Broner had fought the way he did in the last 3 rounds earlier he could have pulled it off. I don't mind that he fights flat footed, he just needs to keep his hands up and throw more punches. Marcos was gassed and with a little more output and sense of urgency he could have gotten rid of him. Deep down I think Broner knew he was gonna lose and was just trying to finish on his feet.....

I was never sold on Adrien Broner. This was THE test of his career and he failed. He is a cheap imitation. Class shows over time. Maidana had the right plan. AB can not deal with quick movement. They kept changing levels on him. Sometimes he pounce on him, sometimes he would jab his way in.

AB just got served a HUGE slice of humble pie. If he plays it right he can make a comeback to be better than ever. Say all the right things, stop the antics, praise his opponent for beating him fair and square, make no excuses, admit his mistakes, and keep improving his craft. Do those things and I guarantee he can return to championship form with maybe even more fans rooting him on. People always do love a good underdog story. People already writing him off at the age of 24 are pretty sad. At least wait to see how he looks moving forward. His mental toughness will be working overtime on this one. Good luck to him and congrats to Maidana.

Not over. He showed a ton of toughness and some heart. And his fitness was phenomenal. He needs to work on defense, gameplanning, and ad******g in fights. I think he'll still accomplish a lot but hopefully he calms down some now.

Well he definitely has a big mental hurdle to get over now but his career isn't over.

I questioned how well he could take a punch from a legitimate WW and we found out tonight.

That's probably the reason why guys at 135 just don't jump directly to 147. If they have success at LW and want to move up, they should normally go to 140 first and test themselves.

Broner is a good talent, but he needs to campaign full time at 135 and 140 and change his style up a bit- he needs to start throwing a lot more punches per round and work on honing his counterpunching.

Real fans like me and a few others on here never bought into it. Ya
gotta move your feet kiddo. Even floyd told him that.
