He is not a guy who is running or playing keep away, and he is the perfect villain.....

Imagine fights vs Mathysse or Garcia, Maidana, even Guerrero or Ortiz, Kahn, pick anyone of these, and because of the offensive styles we will get an action packed fight.

The Answer may be an aggravating persona, but he has greater entertainment value than a Gambo or even Floyd whose fights are sleep inducing sparring sessions.

    Broner is good for boxing.

How is he fan friendly? He doesn't throw punches. Fights stiffs for the most part. When he fights a decent guy like Paulie, he looks like trash. Not to mention the guy can't read at a 6th grade level. Who is his constituency?

He's good for the sport and entertaining, not goat material. See him loosing some and winning some, a better Ortiz type of fighter.

He should rematch Paulie and win convincingly. I would like to see Broner vs Garcia.

He's a good addition to the sport, a poor man's Floyd with an even worse attitude.
So he's the perfect opponent for big names to have a good fight with.

But he isn't going to be the sport's future like advertised.

Mattysse vs broner would be like Tyson in the 80s. People would be happy they saw a brutal ko but pissed the fight only lasted seconds.

    This.

Ortiz's competition so far crushes Broner's, not his accomplishment but his competition as a whole...

But I suppose that's further to the point. Broner will have mixed results against the top echelon.
