If there is an element of BS, it's a smart move. If not, it's lucky for Devon. A guy with questionable commitment like Brook might, and seemingly did, psych himself up to getting in premium shape over a set period of time. But a reset is going to be hard for him. I'm not saying I approve, but if it helps Devon win, nobody will remember this in a couple years.
