Seriously doubt it, expect Brook will get stripped of his mandatory position now

    Promoter Eddie Hearn said:

“Kell has recently developed pain in his right foot. Following specialist review and investigations over the last ten days he has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of his right fourth metatarsal and a further injury of his right navicular, both of which require on-going treatment including withdrawal from full training.

“As a result of these injuries and the time required to recover he has been advised that he will not be medically fit to fight on May 18.

“Obviously this is a huge blow and Kell is devastated but we have had to make the right decision for Kell Brook the fighter. We will speak with Golden Boy and hope to reschedule the bout in the near future.”

Well, at least a month should be enough time for a halfway decent replacement for Alexander to fight, maybe?

    Screw Brook!

Brook doesn't want this fight, ****ing move on. Alexander, regardless what anyone thinks of him, fights often and fights the best...he's already wasted too much time on this dude, **** him.

How hard is Brook training FFS? He never got injured this often before. Let Devon fight someone else, this is ridiculous!

Wasting time away, kell brook should go back and fight scrubs like Jo Jo Dan, he's obviously not ready for the big level

Remember all the trash Hearn was talking about Alexander will "vacate the belt", etc.

I think this Brook actually does not want to travel, to face a worthy challenger.

What a shame that Alexander will still fight on that date. I was more than happy to have these two keep getting injured for as long as it kept Devon off my TV.
