Did I say anyone was forced to buy a ticket or PPV ? I said the fight was a farce and I stand by that, anyone with a clue about boxing knew this the minute the fight was announced.

When Victor Ortiz quits he is a tree, when Brook quits its the right decision?

Do you think the x-ray was fake and that 9/11 was a conspiracy?

No. Ortiz had a badly broken jaw and trying to fight with that would of been stupidity.

The idea of welterweights going up to challenge middleweights is farcical?
    Robinson v Lamotta,Gavilan v Robinson,Basilio vRobinson,Monzon v Griffith,Monzon v Napoles, Hagler v Leonard,Hagler vDuran?

Kell looked all over the show at the end of the fight. Whether he was gassed or the eye was causing blurred vision the corner had to get him out.
154 is stacked with great fighters for Kell to face

You could tell Ingle was having an internal battle over throwing in the towel, something inside was stopping him actually letting go of it and he was just waving it around for about 10 seconds before finally giving into common sense and chucking the thing onto the canvas. He would have known how gutted Brook would've been to be pulled out of a fight by his corner, there's no shame in that, but it hurts the boxer's pride the most when the people who back them as a fighter show they've given up believing in a victory. People who say it was prearranged are... well... thick.

Brook is hardly comparable to SRR and Leonard, Robinson and Leonard both had HOF worthy resumes even before they moved up to MW, Brook has one good win on his record.

Leonard was coming out of an extended retirement,[3 years,] and, like Brook had never fought at the weight.Welters have been challenging Middles for a century and more.Oh and Golovkin is hardly comparable to Sugar Ray Robinson or Marvin Hagler and which big names adorn his resume?
I happen to think Brook put up a hell of a challenge. As to what you think, I couldn't care less.

    You are completely wrong.

Whether his is because you aren't very bright or because you are just an ahole I can't say.

What paying more money to watch a top class fight entitles you to as a fan to do is witness better class boxing. Nothing more. It does NOT increase your entitlement to see guys get hurt or even put themselves at increased risk of being hurt.

As I said anyone with a clue about boxing knew the fight was a farce the minute it was announced and that Brook had zero chance. Leonard and Robinson were ATG's with ATG wins on their resume before going up to MW, Brook is a fine fighter but he has one good win on his CV at WW and even then he struggled.
You're right about GGG not being on the same level as Hagler and others, however GGG's level of opposition may not be great but just the manner of his wins would suggest he's the real deal.

Thres absolutly no doubt in my mind or can be doubt in the mind of ANYONE who knoews boxing , This was a money fight , did they cheat the fans . I don't think so , cheating is going in to lose ,, was it pre planned NO because they could'nt say if his eye was going to swell

But what i do agree with the other poster is , IT was well planned that they were not going to take too much punishment ,, i think they were always going to go in with the intention of surviving , and hoping to go the distance without getting hurt .

I also believe that when Kell found out 2 things , 1 he could'nt hurt GGG and 2 GGG hurt him ,, Kelll strted to give the signals he wanted out , and his trainer obliged ,, so no they did'nt excatly cheat , but i don;t think they went in willing to have a war either , put on a good show for a few rnds , try and be brave , get the yanks to love them ,and pick up a couple off million, without getting seriously hurt was always the plan .

They did'nt really go in to cheat fans , but they had no intention of going to war either ,, cheating fans or clever management, you call .

Oh and the eye,, for me the jurys out on that one , to be honest the swelling did'nt look to me to be bad enough to have a broken eye socket , and x rays Pffft who believes them anyway ,, I am very keen to hear wether or not Kell will fight again , from what i have been told , a broken socket will usually entail a plate being put in , and that will mean no fighting ,, perhaps a doctor or someone who knows better can enlihghten us .

You don't believe in X rays but you'd believe someone on a boxing forum claiming to be a doctor?
