Brook at #10, Ward at #2. How messed up is the Ring p4p list?

What on earth is going on over at the ring? Brook at number 10? Really?

    1. Roman Gonzalez

    2. Andre Ward

    3. Sergey Kovalev

    4. Gennady Golovkin

    5. Guillermo Rigondeaux

    6. Wladimir Klitschko

    7. Terrence Crawford

    8. Manny Pacquiao

    9. Shinsuke Yamanaka

    10. Kell Brook

Andre Ward is actually the most ****ed up pick on there as he's neither rated at SMW or LHW by the Ring. Just on the p4p rankings. It's really embarrassing how they're having to shoehorn in a American into the top 5.

He must have won the vacant 172lb ring title against Paul Smith.

He may well do, doesn't change the fact that he hasn't done anything in a number of years to warrant being on that list at the moment and the ring know it. That's why they didn't stick him on either the SMW or LHW rankings.

Brook shouldn't be on the list either.

That's actually a good list. If Ward beats a top 5 guy @ 168 or 175 in his next fight then he should be a lock for the #1 spot.

What if he fights another Paul Smith type tune up?

To prove he's still got it after such a long time out I'd like to see him in with one of GGG, Degale, Kovalev or Stevenson. Pascal or Beterbiev would also be acceptable.

The worst level of fighter he should be taking on from here on out should be one of the dirrells or Oosthuizen.

Bumlovkin is on the list and he hasn't done anything for the whole of his career...

Doesn't matter. We all know who Andre Ward is and what he's accomplished in the sport. He deserves to be high on the P4P list until he loses or retires...

He has been in title fights for the past 3 years against mediocre to poor opposition by world class standards but at least he has been fighting ranked fighters. How many hypothetical wins has ward picked up over the past 3 years?

Also calling someone Bumlovkin or the like seems very immature. I'm imagining you're a grown man in which case, get a grip.

GGG is too high and Wlad is too low. Other than that, it's refreshingly accurate.

You must see how ridiculous this is. So would you have found it acceptable to have Vitali on the list whilst champion emeritus?

If you don't fight against world class competition frequently then you've got no business being on a p4p list. Ward was on a hot streak and universally acclaimed as a p4p talent then he ****ed it all away with his inactivity and now his reluctance to move up to a red hot 175.

In 3 years Ward has beaten E-Rod and Smith. That's not enough to keep a p4p #2 spot. Why Wlad went down so far I've no idea, Golovkin is WAY too high, Kovalev being #4 I'm fine with, there are better candidates than Kell Brook for that #10 spot.

(Oh ****, noticed that Kovalve is #3, I think that's too high, for me Kovalev is #4-#7)
