Brook: GGG broke my eye socket in the 2nd round

They said that Roy Jones Jr overheard Brook saying to his trainer that he thinks that his eye socket was broken and that he wanted to quit and that his trainer talked him into continuing and that he would stop it if he looked to be taking to many shots. Brook didn't think that he was taking too many at the time while his trainer thought that he did.

 

What's the evidence for this? Just that he seemed to meekly protest at the stoppage?

It may not be broke but he was signaling to his eye during the last couple of rounds and said at the end of the fight that his vision was Donald Ducked.

 

The man said that "he thinks" that his eye socket might be broken. I think that it was due to how he kept reacting to it. GG landed a helacious shot that stunned him in the first so we can't say that it was impossible to happen.

 

Kell Brook has no eye socket. None.

 

it was the 3rd round when he hurt his eye. and pretty sure it was the knockdown punch that wasn't called which did it.
