He doesn't think he CAN win, he thinks he WILL win. Getting goosebumps watching this guy during the staredowns and interviews! He is dedicated, he will give everything frothe beginning and trying to break GGG's spirit. But GGG is a tough warrior, it takes much to break him down! This is going to be fight of the year material! GGG by SD I assume, a tough fight but he is going to win more rounds at the end of the fight.
That's a fair assessment. I though, feel GG will stop Brook, maybe even through his corner pulling him out of the fight. Ingle has known Kel since he was a kid and won't want to see him taking a beating. But while the fight is on, I think GGG will be pushed harder than he has ever been. Both fighters will come out of this with their reputations intact, and if Brook doesn't take a pasting he will come back as a beast at 154.
I believe Brook does truly believe he can/will win this but things change when Golovkin hits you. Guys usually crumble and/or go into survival mode. Remember that look on Curtis Stevens' face when he got dropped? It's really an unknown how Kell will perform. He might he carry his power and speed up well, he might turn out to be surprisingly resilient, or he might get taken out quickly like Macklin, Geale and Rubio. We'll see.
Brook has balls of steel taking this fight, he is not scared at all. Further proves what a disgrace Canelo is.
