This is no Tyson Bruno where Frank took 3 million vs Tysons 30 million, but with all due respect to Kell he isnt the draw in this proposed fight against Khan and I can really see this fight falling apart before it starts if Hearn thinks this way.

Brook does have some drawing power but isnt known in the states and is relatively unknown by the armchair fans in the UK.

Khan on the other hand is always in exciting fights , been on our television since Beijing and sells on both sides of the pond.

Lastly looking at both their resume's Khans win over Collazo really is better than anything on Kell's career.

I just want to see a great 50 / 50 fight but dont want a belt or egos get in the way.

    Peace.

The Ring had Porter no.4 in the world. Collazo is no.36 on boxrec.

Khan being a huge draw is an utter myth.

What's the biggest crowd he's ever boxed in front of?

    No.

The fight will be in the UK, so cares who the Americans 'know'. Its all about how big it is over here. But even saying that the Americans are talking about Brook a lot more than Khan right now

Kell Brook has being selling out shows in the UK for a couple years now. UK fans dont even like Khan, see him as a bit of Fraud who ran off to America, he hardly has any fans here.

Khans fight in Sheffield last year flopped. They didnt sell out, which Kell does do everytime. Khans UK PPV fights have all flopped. His name doesnt carry much weight over here in terms of people paying to watch him.

And 'armchair fans' only buy PPV when the fight catches everyones attention, like Froch Groves. And thats down to both fighters. In fact the only Khan fight i would pay my own money to see is vs Kell Brook, and same goes for Brook. 50 / 50 is a fair split

Is this not the British Boxing Forum? Why do we care about who those over the pond prefer, they can not match our crowds/atmosphere/passion for the sport. It just doesn't come close. We have two world level welterweights IMO, ones a legit world champ & why wouldn't the other one want to challenge him?

Bang on the money, anyone who thinks Brook shouldn't get minimum 50/50 split is a biased idiot.

Boxing fans know Brook, nobody else does. Khan has a little more general popularity. But even he's not exactly a household name.

One jab from Brook will have Khans popodom chin cracked

Brook does him in 5 rounds.

Khan's only the bigger draw when it comes to US TV. Does everyone forget him spitting his dummy out when Sky said they weren't doing to McCloskey fight on PPV and he went to bomb on Primetime. Khan's not as big a draw in UK as people make out, certainly not in terms of getting people to his fights. I believe he only did around 15,000 for that fight as well, capacity at MEN is over 20,000. And that's within spitting distance of his hometown. Kell did 13,500 sell out without even being a World Champ at the Motorpoint against Senchenko.
