I am sure Floyd Mayweather knows exactly who Kell Brook is. And were Kell to beat Khan, then Special K would be considered as a potential opponent for Mayweather. After all, if Khan can be mentioned as a potential opponent for Floyd, then surely the guy who beat him (were Kell to do so) could be?

    Khan-vs-Thrurman??

Khan-vs-Bradley?? Not impossible, but extremely unlikely.

Khan-vs-Guerrero?? More realistic than Bradley, but still unlikely.

Khan-vs-Broner would mean nothing and Amir never looked for a rematch with Danny at 140. And Amir holds no version of the WW title so I doubt that fight comes off.

The fact is Dragon, Amir needs Kell more than Kell needs Amir!! And just because an American suggests otherwise does not make it so.

Kell could tell Amir to **** off and enjoy many defenses (Take a look at the IBF WW rankings, they are a disgrace, but wholly to Brook's advantage), whereas Amir is not going to be in a big money fight unless he fights an elite WW...and Team Khan has already demonstrated serious reluctance in making such a match-up. Khan mouthed off about fighting everyone in the top ten, only to try and arrange a fight with (drum roll please) Josesito Lopez ffs!!

Apart from Mayweather or Pacquiao (neither of which are realistic fights for Amir at present) the biggest payday for Amir is undoubtedly Brook. Brook-vs-Khan is a genuine UK PPV event and would earn Amir far more than being an undercard fighter on a Mayweather event. I mean, come on now, do you really believe that Floyd ensures that the fighters on his undercard earn a fortune?

Amir tried to "Backdoor" a fight with Floyd. Mayweather (always looking for an easy payday) floated the idea..and got ridiculed for it. Following that, Floyd stated that Khan needs to hold a belt, or get a big win against a GENUINELY ELITE 147 fighter before Amir will be seriously considered.

My guess (and it is only that, of course) is that were Brook-vs-Khan not to materialise, then Team Khan will ensure that Amir fights safe, low key opponents and protect his Number 1 WBC Ranking, in the mistaken belief that this will force Floyd to fight Khan as a mandatory. It is laughable, but hey, welcome to the fantasty world of Khan and his team!

And Collazo is way past his best and hadn't held any version of a World Title for 8 years. Porter was coming off two big wins against Alexander and Paulie and was a current title holder. Please explain again how this is a better win? Might as well say Barrera was as well :rofl

most of what you have written i agree with. however, him not being liked in the uk is a positive thing too in my opinion because people will come to see him lose.... similar to danny garcia and adrein broner.... some people just come to see them lose

The 'draw' comes from them fighting each other. That's why this is a 50/50 fight imo.

It sells well because it's a fight people want to see.

Speed is by far and away the most essential quality for a sprinter...funnily enough.

    Less so for a boxer.

It was equally as stupid as the original post I was referring too. Taking away any of a boxers MAIN attributes just nullifies an argument.

Not such a clever **** after all are you sore arse :patsch
