    I think if he went balls to the wall he would of just played into Martinez even more. He showed he is still a good boxer tonight but like you said no matter what way he went it was either early stoppage or late.

    Liked his feints tonight.

    Pointless fight all round, Macklin never had a chance, if i was in his shoes i'd of bumrushed Martinez early and preyed for a miracle

    Well yeah like I said, it's hardly to really criticise too much. Macklin was probably gonna get stopped no matter what game plan he went out with. But I just don't think he was ever going to outbox Martinez for 12 rounds.

    His tactics did frustrate Sergio a lot though yeah.
