If Porter said that he was being gracious. He won that fight. Thurman looked poor against Porter, so there is something to that. I never mentioned Spence's power, so the rest of your post makes no sense.
Brook has never shown elite power in any fight. Spence's chin seems pretty good. Who has had him down?
That's why I don't trust either guy lol. I don't know who is going to win. Brook might be a skeleton come the weigh in. Spence is in his first true fight. I don't trust his chin either for some reason.
He didn't react well against Bundu when hit clean, Van Heerden froze him up once, and it took him a round to recover from that Lartey shot. The warning signs are there if you choose to acknowledge them. Not saying he's packing glass, but like with AJ, it wouldn't shock me to see him go down hard.
Some said Wlad was AJ's first true fight, sometimes it brings the best out of you, this will be a hard fight for both, I expect it to be decided in rounds 10-12, rolling with Spence here
Well then you shouldn't make that comparison. He doesn't have to eat counters to get close to Brook. Sure, he is gonna get hit but this is boxing and that's what happens, Brook will also get hit and that straight left or that right jab might drive him to the ropes or he might just back up to the ropes. At any rate, that body will get tested by Spence. His footwork is no better than Spence's and neither is his counters. Their skills are quite even and like I said, it's the intangibles that will decide it. That is unless one of them gets knocked out which can very well happen in either case.
I read somewhere Spence describe boxing as a 'job'. I found that interesting. But neither of us know what motivates either man. To suggest otherwise is merely guesswork...
I didn't say he's not good. I said he's not that good. He lost pretty comprehensively to Porter, who's really a near-gatekeeper. His comp is terrible. He went life and death with Carson Jones. So it's difficult to say he's anything special. He's certainly nothing like the claims that are being made for him around here. He's going to have a lot of trouble on his hands with Spence. Spence is green, but he can box, has real power and he's probably the best finisher in the sport. In a few more fights Spence beats him for sure. But this weekend, if Spence leaves it to the judges he could very well get robbed. Like I said, judges like certain styles. They love shoeshiners.
