Do you think Adonis Stevenson can beat Chris Arreola or Chocolatito Gonzalez can beat Lomachenko? Weight divisions exist for a reason, there's a reason that tired ass idiom exists. Sure there's the occasional Ray Leonard upset of Hagler, but its very uncommon.

Adonis and Chocolatito would be giving up much more weight.

Brook already fights @ 165+, Murray and Lemieux would probably only be 170-175 max if both had to weigh 160 for the fight.

Lemieux is not that big he just isn't ripped and carries a bit of excess
Lemieux is the same size as Canelo

No he's not, maybe on paper he is, but in reality Canelo is around 5'7 Lemieux is about 5'9.

Back to Brook, there's a difference between rehydrating up to a particular weight and having a weight advantage to use to push around small Welters and being a natural at that weight and competing on equal footing with a guy who's been there his whole life. Brook as much as I like him has been doing to the WW division what Canelo does to the JMW division, they both cut weight then they blow up and have a huge weight advantage which helps him beat up usually a smaller man. Yet Brook doesn't want to fight at 154 and Canelo doesn't want to fight at 160, because they'll be on an even playing field and their usual advantages will disappear, which will leave them very vulnerable.

It is an even playing field because the rules are the same for everyone.

Funny thing is... The idiots who are disrespecting Brook for his tactics against Porter are infact the same idiots who thought Wards hit, hold, hold, hit, head tactics against Kessler was a masterclass performance... Figures

Funny how the Mayweather crowd all of a sudden turned into staunchly devout lovers of raw aggressive come forward pressure fighters for that match and thought Brook's tactics were dirty as hell, just when you think you've seen the lowest low of the propagandistic hypocrisy, they can always manage to one up themselves.

    you're a ****!
That's such a disrespectful thing to say about the many good middleweights out there, that some lousy top welter is better as them. Kell is no Floyd, and even then I don't believe he can legitimately beat every MW on Golovkin's resume.

Don't put Kell down just to boost up GGG's resume.

Kell is no lousy Welterweight, he's the best on the planet.

Murray and Lemieux are good fighters but they have big holes in their games as well. Kell is at a size disadvantage but he has the skill level to bridge the gap.

I think Murray is the much harder fight for Kell because he is so much bigger and stronger. Lemieux is just heavy handed he's not really that big. Lemieux has poor stamina and doesn't really use his size to bully fighters like Murray does. I think Brook would beat up Lemieux and would be too slick for Murray.

Agree, although I honestly think Kovalev might beat today's old, shot Arreola.

I have seen them at face off's many times against different fighters.

Lemieux is 5ft8.5 @ the most and Canelo is just a fraction under 5ft8
There would be no more than 1cm between them and they are the sameish build except Canelo is a bit more muscular

In all seriousness, is it really a stretch to say Brook would beat Eubank Jr? I've seen every one of Jr's fights since the C5 days and he has serious flaws that have not been addressed. Offensively he is very good, defensively not so good. I don't care for Brook, GGG or Eubank so I don't really care tbf.

Eubank has better hand speed, more power and a big size and strength advantage against Brook. Eubank is a huge middleweight, I can't see Kell getting the win against those odds.
