Ortiz would be a living hell for Khan or Brook, neither like pressure and neither like being hit too much, I would favor Ortiz in either.
The body punching broke him down. Jones is a bad guy to put a prospect in with because he busts them up win or lose. Body punchers with a chin and stamina are trouble for a prospect
Kell Brook was exposed plain and simple. Simply isnt ready for the likes of Khan or proven 147 fighters
Any reason why you're acting like Devon has not quit before in a silly manner? No one likes to be hit, but we seen Ortiz mentally fold from it twice. Kellz and Amir haven't ever quit the way Devon and Ortiz have
Exposed? That's not neccesarily true, he had a tough fight that's all and to add to that, who in the 147lb division will apply that type of pressure to kell anyway?
Brook has nearly 30 fights the guy is not a prospect at this point. A B level fighter is actually a big step up for Brook and he struggled. Alexander will destroy Brook.
Same! I was just referring to those who constantly have shouting matches using words like Brittard, *****, *******, Butard etc...their not very objective at all.
Just gonna paste what i started another thread on Kell Brook found is very difficult in there tonight. The dude was swarming the **** out of him, which can be a very effective tactic against someone with Brook's style. It happens though. Even the best fighters have close calls early in their career against guys they should have no problem with. Calzaghes third defence against Reid was a SD. Andre Ward was bang in trouble in some of his early fights. Other highly respected world champions suffered early losses in their careers. It seems that whenever someone is in a fight that isn't a KO1 or a 120-108 UD, they are ''exposed'' or a ''hypejob''. That is just not realistic. Yes Sky definitely overhyped him far too early. But thats how it goes. Kell is still learning. He has a lot to work on. But he showed heart and a granite chin in there. First time he was really faced with adversity. And he was caught off guard and maybe a little lucky to get away with it. But he can still improve and become a credible world champion. Just coz someone isn't a P4P contender or a floyd mayweather, it doesn't mean they are shite. He isn't ready for a world title yet imo. But as long as he isn't now wrapped in cotton wool and protected by Hearn, he will continue to build and learn and become a threat at world level soon. Lay off the kid
You say too much speed, but I think Brook has better head movement and footwork than Alexander. Brook's issue is not with avoiding punches, it's with fighting on the inside. Knowing that Alexander isn't exactly going to drag Brook into the back alleys, I don't think he has a decided advantage over him.
Exposed, what, full stop? Sure, he has flaws, but the man still has a future. What's your thoughts on Joe Louis given he was exposed by Max Schmeling?
Brook needs to tighten up on the inside, learn how to get off in the clinch, and avoid pulling back with his hands down. Most of the times he got caught were in those situations. And as he recognized, stamina is an issue that needs to be resolved.
