MD win for Sturm. A less bad decision than expected, though 8-4 to Sturm is hard to defend as a score. 7-5 seems the widest score he could conceivably get. Anyway, I hope we get rid of Sturm quickly. He doesn't fight good opponents and isn't really interested in getting good fights. Barely scraping past Macklin isn't what the guy we're supposed to see as n°2 in the division should be doing.

Even on Watt’s card Sturm gets the split......... had the best round of a 6-6 draw.

Not to mention a draw doesn’t win you the belt.

116-112 is to wide imo. i agree with Richie, Macklin should of won by a couple.

 

I had Macklin winning 7-5.

If this fight was in the U.S, I think he'd have gotten the decision.

 

Can't complain about Sturm nicking it but by 4 rounds? disgusting.

115-113 reverse Sturm is more correct.

 

We all in agreement that the vast majority overrated Sturm?

 

Great effort from Macklin but it ended at the right time for him. He would've got stopped had it continued.

 

Sturm isn't much cop, not much doubt about that. He didn't even use the things he was supposed to be good at tonight. He won it by basically throwing a few eye catching shots per round against a game but limited opponent that has a leaky defence. He didn't exactly completely outbox Macklin as he ought to. I think my ranking him below 2 was justified
