    im trying to figure out where i hyped up spence anywhere....i even said the fight makes little sense for brook.....talk about selective reading....i dont think hearn is serious about making this fight..its high risk/low reward....i think they fought ggg to avoid those type of fights and get big ones IMO...what i said was ill believe it when its signed and sealed

    Wouldn't any corner want to stop a fight if they think their fighter has zero chance to win? Sure, the fighter might not let them, but any corner would want to.

    Brook tried to win. It's true that him being smaller makes it look not as bad if he loses so he gets a nice paycheck plus his stock doesn't go down as much as losing to a welter.

    at the time of the fight brook was def still in teh fight on the cards(wasnt he winning?)...hadnt been down....had no real signs of major damage......what was the point of showing up if u were just gonna stop it when ggg had u against ropes throwing punches?

    no sign of damage??? he was holding his right glove on his eye for the last minute of the fight like he was scared his eyeball would fall on the ground

    Well, Shockmaster, on the other hand certain people were saying before the fight was announced that Jacobs was too dangerous, GGG will duck him / vacate. Now they are saying that Jacobs is a bum, which is tbh how your OP comes across.

    i think alot of people do that to rile up gggs fans......i dont think any real boxing fan thinks ggg is legit afraid to fight jacobs.....but gggs resume could suggest to one that he doesnt like the idea of good fights....and i think people play into it.....when it appeared jacobs might fall through i think gggs fans were legit dissing him...i mean the way they were mentioning mora knocking him was not a good look....and to be honest weve seen these guys make alot of excuses for the ward fight not happening so it seems like something theyd do(by that it means diss a guy who they think is ducking ggg)

    Brook was pawing his eye, big deal. Lol

    I've seen fighters in far worse shape fight on and in some cases win the fight.

    Brooks eye wasn't even swollen bad lol.

    Pain is the norm in boxing, bleeding is part of the sport, swollen eyes are nothing new.

    If his corner is going to stop tge fight everytime he is in pain, he may as well retire now.

    theres a difference between a swollen eye and a broken socket...if at least he was throwing shots but no he was taking big shot with Nothing in return

    Every fighters who I've seen have a Fractured orbital bone has had massive swelling.

    Check out these champs fight on with a very bad fracture.

    If he's doing well and not damaged, how is it part of their plan to pull him out at that time? According to you they wanted to pull him out as soon as they felt he had zero chance to win. So if that wasn't the moment (you said he was just in pain), then shouldn't both yours and Shockmasters' argument be that they ****ed up the plan and he wasn't nearly done when they stopped it?

    You're basing that purely off the eye test. Conventional wisdom says GGG is the best as he's way more accomplished still being just as dominate. But if you want to think Spence is better than go ahead. It's not like Spence has stepped up and lost a couple times to make that opinion objectively wrong. It's not like I don't think Spence is also a really good fighter either. I honestly have no idea what point you're trying to make here.
