Brook got some veddy nice shots in, but there was no schooling. Khan legit schooled McNelo™ for long stretches of time and was winning on the cards before he got clipped. Shows you the level of expectations and class. A guy has some success against GGG, they say he was exposed. A glass-jawed welterweight schools McNelo™ and he gets a free pass.

Neither Brook or Khan did anything that warrants anyone saying that they were winning or outboxing GG or Canelo at any point during those fights. Foh lmao..

The Kirkland and Khan fights were handpicked fights designed to make Canelo look like a 'power puncher'. Only the most gullible of Boxing fans were fooled by those two charades.

So. They probably said that because GG got hit. We call it the Maidana Syndrome. Land on the house fighter and score the fight closer than it really was. True boxing fans might've given each guy a round in both fights if that. Most of you Brits tried to say the same ****. Unfortunately I keep it real. They weren't outboxing anyone.

Maidana pried Floyd's butt cheeks apart and went to town. Win for Maidana or a draw for Floyd.

This is true, two guys that throw punches, are exciting but have
no punch resistance whatsoever, mission accomplished.

Tons of similarities between the two, sure. I can only speak for myself but here's my two cents.

Brook did not expose Golovkin, but he did expose some weaknesses in a fighter that mostly looked invincible to that point. If you can't see Brook's success in that fight I can't help you. Brook won the center of the ring, but lost when Golovkin got him against the ropes. That's why Jacobs had some success; he kept it centered, mostly. Notice he got knocked down on the ropes? The biggest mistake guys make against Golovkin is retreating.

Now Canelo has already lost before, doesn't look invincible and everyone already knows his limitations. No one was surprised Khan was able to do what he did, we were just surprised he didn't get knocked out sooner. Nothing was exposed because he's already been exposed.

And anybody saying Brook schooled Golovkin is baiting you, and you're falling for it.

But how much of Brook's success was due to Golovkin not being Golovkin? This bears repeating as Golovkin himself told media outlets that his plan was to make it a "street fight," meaning less emphasis on boxing and a focus on getting Brook out of there ASAP. Golovkin would have made it a LOT easier on himself if he had chosen to box Brook from range.

We all expected Khan to have moments here and there, but Khan over-delivered and had stretches of success, made McNelo look silly at times, and was winning clearly before the KO.

Canelo was starting to time Khan. That's what let to the KO.

To be fair everybody expected Khan to paddle Canelo right up to the inevitable KO.

What is really worrying is the scorecards of some of the judges for Canelo/Khan.

No offense, but I don't think you fully understand what you were seeing. Golovkin didn't lie, but you got the time he chose to box and slug confused.

Brook had MORE success when Golovkin chose to box. When Golovkin cut the ring and cornered Brook, only then did he impose his fight. Seriously, watch it again. I can even post a YouTube video that highlights what I'm saying.

Golovkin abandoned his "boxing" after Brook was beating him to the punch and began to hunt. And all Golovkin did different was turn up the aggression and force Brook to the ropes.
